Dick (also known as tricky) is newly slim, and,
like a reformed smoker despises anyone who is
over weight. He is renowned for his snoring,
though he claims he is now cured. Anne does not
believe him. Gerry thinks he totally lacks dress
sense, though he would dispute this. Dick is
expedition leader, or at least he has the pack
with the tickets in. He is prone to losing things,
and thinks nothing is impossible (he works in
IT). Tipsy is a bad influence on him, especially
in the evenings.

Anne is sophisticated urbane and debonair. She
would like it known that physical appearances are
very deceptive. She is in reality six inches taller,
elfin and 10lbs lighter, than first sight would have
you believe.
Her immaculate and elegant dress sense would be
fully developed and indulged, if John earnt more.
As it is she has to go out to work and suffer the
rigours of a professional existence.

John is the steady one, he used to have a
responsible job, now he's got an important one.
When it's his turn to drive, he follows the
itinerary religiously. He's not very good at
randomly stopping for shopping, so the girls
shout at him a lot.
John is the only one who will admit that there
are some things he does not know (a cardinal sin
in IT) and always tries to make a balanced
judgement. Maybe he should be holding the
tickets. We give him the money to carry instead.

Gerry (Geraldine) is the Tomboy. Willing to have a
go at most things and beat the boys, unfortunately
she has forgotten her driving licence and so can
beat them at driving.
She is the instigator of adventures and is also the
nature expert. She can identify most birds and
animals at 500 yards, frustratingly though they
have usually flown off or disappeared before the
others get to look.
Gerry also has an unfortunate habit of breaking
things.
